QuickTank Auxiliary Fuel Cell - GL1800-Gen-6 Plumbing

Dry-Disconnect Fittings; also known as Dry-Disconnect-Couplings or Valved-Couplings, contain internal valves operated by coupling a pair of fittings. Neither fuel nor air can pass through the fittings unless the pair is coupled. Using them allows the QuickTank to be removed without spilling fuel. Note: Couplers should be kept clean to prevent leakage.

 

Installation

  1. Connect the QuickTank drain to the motorcycle’s fuel tank vent fitting.
  2. Connect the QuickTank vent to a length of hose open to the atmosphere or to a puke-tank.
  3. Save a short piece of hose to make a vent line for riding without the QuickTank installed.

QuickTanks use 1/8 inch NPT weld fittings to accommodate the parts on this list. You can purchase the parts yourself or enlist us to purchase and install them for you. Summit-Racing is a good source.
